Barrier cable glands for gas-tight cable entry in potentially explosive atmospheres where gas migration through the cable core is a risk. The gland fills the space between conductors with a sealing compound that prevents gas, flame and moisture from propagating along the cable interior. Used where pressure differential could drive gas through the cable structure.
